Imagine clothing that keeps your children warm but will not over heat them in those cold cold months. Especially since they do run around quite a bit busy as a bee exploring every corner of the house. It will still be warm when it is wet, such as when they spill their drinks. If you are a mom, you know what I am talking about. My dear friend Sew Katiepie makes them so handsomely out of New Zealand Merino wool which is a really friendly baby/toddler fabric, being 100% natural (this is what allows children's skin to breath and will not over heat them). It is naturally flame retardant and self-extinguishing. Further, as this is a fine fiber, it does not irritate the skin like traditional wool might. Also, it is parent friendly too - machine washable.
In addition, Kate also makes cute children's aprons inspired by her little girl who loves to cook. These aprons are so pretty, they can be worn as a layer over shirt and jeans.
